Stoneleigh was originally two Devon cottages which have been lovingly & sympathetically restored to provide a warm and comfortable environment for guests. It is located in Ipplepen nestling amongst the beautiful South Devon countryside close to the historic market town of Newton Abbot, and just 7 minutes from Totnes.
Guests enjoy the use of their own entrance and sitting room which is attractively furnished in a non-smoking environment and features a television, internet access and cosy stove with Inglenook Fireplace, making it suitable as a base for longer stays or warm winter weekend breaks.
The cottage garden is sunny and open with stunning views across the village to Denbury Down and Hay Tor. Guests may use the gas barbecue and eat outside watching the magnificent sunsets over Dartmoor.
Breakfast is prepared from locally sourced produce and guests may choose from traditional English, Continental or Vegetarian breakfasts . Breakfast is served overlooking the garden with stunning views of Ipplepen and Hay Tor.
Tea, coffee, home made cakes, Devon cream teas and packed lunches are all available on request.
Stoneleigh offers off-road parking, is located 5 minutes walk from the village shop, pubs & post office and is ideal for country walks and visiting the South Hams coastal walks, beaches and National Trust gems.
